As Late Capitalism increasingly resembles the Ancien Rgime, everything old is new again. It’s possibly correlated with the fact that England recently appointed its first official Jester (Nigel Roder) since 1649 (ante Regicide). Let’s just hope Colbert avoids the fate of Jester Archibald Armstrong.
