So I saw a bunch of vox pops from dazed investors on one of those money shows on TV today, all parrotting how they believed in the “US Stock Market”. It’s like a secular religion thing. Fortuitously then, I found this <\/a>article<\/a>, which puts the current stock crash into context. Too many people are, it seems, always too willing to neglect the essentially illusory aspect of money, and people want to believe their stock market is somehow devoid of graft and corruption. This is patent nonsense, the stock markets were created<\/i> to fund piracy<\/a> – the original “free enterprise:
