Some say “hooking up.” Others “going out.” We wanted to know how you describe it to your friends when you’re getting it on with someone. Women tended to say that they were “dating someone” or “seeing each other,” as opposed to describing that significant or less-than-significant other in sexual terms.<\/p>\n

Dating 11% <\/p>\n

Hanging out: 8% <\/p>\n

Going out: 8% <\/p>\n

Fuck buddies: 6% <\/p>\n
