This was interesting<\/a>: a quick run through some of the various political parties that competed in Israel’s recent election. I note that the charming Rabbi Ovadia Yosef<\/a> (of the “Kill All Arabs<\/a>” quote that Roger so vehemently disavows<\/a>) is also no great fan of Israel’s Russian immigrants, whom he suspects are part of some nefarious plot to fill Israel with goyim. His election commercials juxtaposed lots of shot of pigs and Russians. I note that in the final decade of its existence as an apartheid state, South Africa was increasingly ruled by coalitions led by hardline voortrekkers while the rest of the body politic polarised around it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
