Then I checked my referer logs&#8230; this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlegreenfootballs.com\/weblog\/?entry=6220_A.N.S.W.E.R._Prof_on_the\">looney fascist fundie nerd site<\/a> decided to hate-bomb me, and call me a drunken Irishman. Nice folks. The link was posted by someone called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlegreenfootballs.com\/weblog\/?entry=6220#c0003\">Phil<\/a>&#8221; with no user account&#8230; I have my suspicions. Anyway, I am going Wilde on this and figuring the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. This bizarro site&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlegreenfootballs.com\/weblog\/ref.php\">referer log<\/a> is the usual rollcall of conservative, militaristic, and mean-spirited celebrity blogs that big media constantly promulgate as the blog exemplars: instapundit, blogsofwar, townhall, sgtstryker, hobbsonline, seankirby, philcarter, andrewsullivan, and so on. A roll call of the sad and lonely and potty-trained-too-early. It&#8217;s sad really, so many of the largest, most popularized blogs are run by these fearsomely busy, driven fascists &#8211; there&#8217;s something in their makeup that drives them to attempt to project their opinions so much more vehemently than non-conservatives.
