It clearly shows that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/Iraq\/Story\/0,2763,968182,00.html\">Pentagon used tens of thousands of cluster bombs over dense urban areas<\/a>, despite their denials during combat (countered by the account of hundreds of eye-witnesses). As with most ordinance, around somewhere between 10-30% are lying unexploded yet active. These will undoubtedly maim and kill thousands of Iraqis over the next couple of decades, and a disproportionate number of them will be children.
