According to Gnod<\/a>, there’s a definite connection between Link Wray<\/a>, the Sneaker Pimps<\/a>, and “Trance<\/a>“. Which kind of confirms my suspicions since I’ve been listening to lot of Wray<\/a> and the Pimps<\/a> lately. By rights there should be a more explicit Velvet Underground<\/a> link, but I guess Gnod’s linkages are heavily influenced by genre and historical clustering.<\/p>\n
