{"id":1815,"date":"2003-12-09T16:54:00","date_gmt":"2003-12-09T20:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.meehawl.com\/Blogfiles-wp\/?p=1815"},"modified":"2003-12-09T16:54:00","modified_gmt":"2003-12-09T20:54:00","slug":"chicken-tonight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meehawl.com\/Blogfiles\/2003\/12\/09\/16\/54\/chicken-tonight\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Tonight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/custom\/showcase\/la-na-virgil8dec08.story\">really<\/a> don&#8217;t feel like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyberactivist.blogspot.com\/\">chicken tonight<\/a>.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyberactivist.blogspot.com\/2003_12_01_cyberactivist_archive.html#107073406665369855\"><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When I would grab the chickens that missed the<br \/>\nkilling machine in order to cut their throats, their<br \/>\nfeathers would come out in my hands and the<br \/>\nskin of their necks would stick to my cut glove.<br \/>\n(that Kevlar glove we had to wear to kill to keep<br \/>\nfrom cutting ourselves with the extra-sharp<br \/>\nkilling knives) Toward the end, some of them<br \/>\neven started having their heads swell up before<br \/>\nthey got to me and there was blood coming out<br \/>\nof their earholes and noseholes. There was also<br \/>\na grayish fluid coming out their noses with the<br \/>\nblood that may have been their brains cooking<br \/>\nout of their heads. I am not sure, but they<br \/>\nwere still kicking and flopping awfully hard. <\/p>\n<p>They made noises, but I couldn&#8217;t really say it<br \/>\nwas sqawking. It sounded like what you might<br \/>\nexpect a chicken clucking under water would<br \/>\nsound like or something. Kind of a eerie<br \/>\ngurgling sound. It really creeped me out.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I really don&#8217;t feel like chicken tonight.
