I liked this one<\/a> in Plastic. A growing number of “conscientious objectors” have apparently realized that being in the armed forces means you have to, shock horror, fight and kill people and get shot at yourself. These people aren’t COs, they are more like unconscious rejectors. These people just sat down, smoked a few bowls watching WB13, and got sucked in by the cool military toys during the commercial break. Being a real CO means having genuine moral qualms… and even then you end up shovelling shit or running around just behind the action waving a big MEDIC sign.
