Built in 1900 by British administrators, it was <a href=\"http:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/Image:Dublin_u01.JPG\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\">obviously designed<\/a> for a warmer climate &#8211; legend says either Australia or India. It was built on the site of the former Hospital dating from 1803-ish, itself built on the site of an former &#8220;Channel Row&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?num=100&amp;hl=en&amp;safe=off&amp;q=+convent%7Cnunnery+channel.row+dublin&amp;btnG=Search\">nunnery<\/a>.
