He was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kirkusreviews.com\/features\/jerry-pournelle-and-personal-computer\/\">pioneer of word processing in fiction<\/a>. Rather fittingly, his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jerrypournelle.com\/chaosmanor\/dreamers\/\">final blog entry from last Thursday<\/a> suggested a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SMTz9nIUkGc\">Service Guarantees Citizenship<\/a>&#8221; solution to the politically broken U.S. immigration policy.
