People are so silly sometimes. It still boggles my mind that I can&#8217;t go into a drugstore here with a nasty cough and just get some damn <a href=\"http:\/\/codeine.50g.com\/info\/facts.html\">codeine<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/codeine.50g.com\/friends\/hydrocodone.html\">hydracodone<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rxlist.com\/cgi\/generic\/hydrocod.htm\">vicodin<\/a> pills for their antitussive (anticough) effects.Hydracodone is just a stronger per dose version of codeine. Anyone could pig out on codeine in Europe but to admit to a codeine\/hydracodone addiction there would just be so&#8230; unclassy. And it&#8217;s so <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rhodium.ws\/chemistry\/hydrocodone.html\">trivially easy to convert codeine to hydracodone<\/a>. These people are sad chumps.<\/p>\n<p>Just because something is difficult to get does not make it nice. I mean, until the end of 2001 you could buy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.erowid.org\/chemicals\/ghb\/ghb.shtml\">GHB<\/a> in any vitamin store in Ireland, or kilos of it mail order. Did this make everyone rush out to become <a href=\"http:\/\/www.disinfo.com\/pages\/dossier\/id137\/pg1\/\">liquid E junkies<\/a>? No, because it tastes like shit, makes you spew and fall asleep, and has all the cachet of drinking meths. But in the US it&#8217;s illegal and suddenly GHB is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.disinfo.com\/pages\/article\/id1430\/pg1\/\">public enemy number one<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More wusses addicted to Vicodin.
