I believe that these bombs contravene the US&#8217;s supposed renunciation of chemical-based weapons of war. A huge part of their effect stems from, according to a 1993 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dia.mil\/\">US Defence Intelligence Agency<\/a> report, the fact that even if the cloud fa<br \/>\ni<br \/>\nls to detonate properly, &#8220;victims will be severely burned and will probably also inhale the burning fuel. Since the most common FAE fuels, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, are highly toxic, undetonated <b>FAE should prove as lethal to personnel caught within the cloud as most chemical agents<\/b><sup><a href=\"#FuelAIR\">1<\/a><\/sup>.&#8221; It&#8217;s a bit rich to condemn Saddam Hussein for using chemical weapons while gloating over your own toxic weapons. Some of them were rescued from the mountain fighting at heights of at le<br \/>\na<br \/>\nst 8,250 feet by U.S. helicopt<br \/>\ners t<br \/>\nhat braved intense fire.<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>And now the <a href=\n\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/news\/627086.asp\">Afghanis<\/a><a href=\"..\/Webstore\/Afghan%20War\/US%20soldiers%20killed%20as%20choppers%20hit.html\"> are <\/a><a \nhref=\"http:\/\/story.news.yahoo.com\/news?tmpl=story&#038;u=\/ap\/20020304\/ap_on_re_as\/afghan_us_military_813&#038;printer=1\">downing <\/a><a href=\"..\/Webstore\/Afghan%20War\/Chopper%20Downed%209%20Americans%20Die%20in%20Afghanistan.html\">US choppers<\/a>, causing fatalities.
