Fare Thee Well, Irish Porn Star, We Hardly Knew Ye

Well sadly this morning’s Google doesn’t think I’m an Irish Porn Star at all. This is kind of sad. I guess recency counts for a huge component of PageRank, but that it’s contribution (obviously) fades very quickly. There must be some sort of rapid half-life for the recency weighting in Google’s PageRank calculation… I think the other, longer-lasting element of bombing Google must require several dozen weighted links to the phrase you’ve decided to bomb. So you need a couple of dozen people, or a couple of dozen domains…
