Buffy’s Flat Notes

It’s a sad day when your pet dies — they seem to last a long time but you know that sooner or later the end will come. And so it came to pass with Buffy, which lurched firmly off into the Jumping the Shark territory tonight with the execrable “The Musical” episode. That hurt. It was really quite unpleasantly like watching a friend do a terrible stand-up routine… that same pit-of-the-stomach nausea and pity. Put a stake up its ass, it’s done.
