Taliban Jail Riot

This Taliban Jail Riot (“they were shot while attempting to escape” sounds eerily familiar) all started when some Taliban prisoners beat up a Guardian journalist, according to this eyewitness account. Apparently, the Taliban prisoners figured they have nothing to lose. The Northern Alliance warlord there, Dostum, has a fondness for running over his prisoners using tanks.
