Larry Flynt – Hero?

Slate has this funny article about how shallow the Pentagon’s press briefings are. Why is it left to that slimeball Larry Flynt to sue for reporter’s rights to follow US troops into combat? I think the big US media probably feel that it’s cheaper to avoid having any of those difficult war correspondents.
