Ear, 21, gave birth to her fourth child on Oct. 19 while taking a shower at her parent’s home on the Eden Valley reserve. She also just gave birth to her fifth child 11 days ago. With neither her family nor her abusive boyfriend aware of her pregnancy, Ear quietly disposed of the baby. She wrapped him in a sack and placed him behind a bush before going grocery shopping.
