John Cornyn, a rather obnoxious US Senator, has suggested that it’s somehow understandable how *some* people might be driven to kill “activist” Judges who make unpopular decisions. Reminds me of how Stalin solidifed his control of the judiciary in the Soviet Union in the late 1920s…

someone tell said senator that you can’t through ideology at every legal decision ever made and hope it sticks. I should know. I’m irish, and we’ve been trying to do it with various english judges decisions. Look where that got us . . .
Orbital? Why yes, I heard their goodbye Peel concert from last June (kind of a double goodbye and a prehumous elegy for Peel) and I realised I hadn’t listened to them in ages.
I hear on the smallest of grapevines that the once said Orbital may be getting back to do a sort of peel sessions… Apparantly a lot of the indie esque people are rallying behind this…
