Google Trending Kinky

Update to this. Apparently, Google’s not censoring this these terms, but whoever programmed the Trends UI didn’t follow the same protocols as the rest of the Google site. It works if you leave out the dot between “anal” and “sex”. I put in a dot because, for Google’s other interfaces, typing a dot between two words is a quick shorthand for making them a multi-word search. Apparently, Trends does not follow Google’s own guidelines.

Currently researching teabagging‘s popularity pattern. Currently most popular in Ireland, followed by the UK. Somehow I doubt people there are using it to refer to the same action that I am thinking of. For more information, see this classy excerpt from Big Brother Australia.
