Media Myth

Your picture of yourself is a media myth said Ultravox and I guess they were a little right. There’s all this guff and some definite strangeness after 9/11.

People crying rivers of tears and a whole media industry for all those people terribly slaughtered, yet after 100 days the US is still bombing remote Afghan villages as the civilian death toll there eclipses 9/11 but virtually nobody cares.

Dumbass morons paying for these big US flags to mount on the front of their gaz-guzzling SUVs.

Sad kids uselessly ramming their planes into buildings.

And most telling of all, pols insisting people are better, more loving, and more willing to fight for their country. Sadly, not true.
