Always dangerous in the US to suggest that government regulation might accomplish something private enterprise has not, but this article says TechNet has been lobbying for Bush to include a Broadband For All statement into the next State of the Union speech. TechNet have a reasonable chance of getting what they want, this Barksdale vehicle was one of the few Silicon Valley Bush supporters.
