So I was looking at some Google alternatives.

Daypop searches recent news stories, kinda cool, fresher than Google’s content.

Teoma tries too hard to look like Google, and its results are confusing.

Vivisimo is yet another metacrawler, but it has a nice clustered results navbar, and an easy drop-down selective search menu.

WiseNut is as fast and uncluttered as Google, but its data seems less fresh.
