Military Grade Anthrax

Yet another story about the probable US military origins of the anthrax used in the postal terror campaign. Apparently two dozen “dangeous biological specimens” have gone missing from the Fort Detrick biowarfare research labs. Why does this continue to surprise people? I keep reading all these war hawks baying for blood, saying now is the time to bomb certain developing nations because of their possible smallpox links. But given the provenance of the anthrax, it’s much more likely that some right-wing nutter group in the US would release smallpox first.
