They may be racist and fuck-all use in urban situations, but the Pentagon’s “special forces” did a bang-up tactical job in Afghanistan, especially considering the limited resources allocated by the Bush Gang. Still, I think having several tens of thousands of local warlord henchmen and anti-Taliban factions willing to die for you is always going to give you some special advantages.
