Amazing archive of live footage of 9/11. I remember being stunned as the day went by at how quickly the raw horror of what was happening was transformed into TV melodrama, with a plot, and a Bad Guy, and all the paraphernalia required to sell copy and motivate audiences. The Propaganda Machine in overdrive. Suddenly there was no coverage of what people were saying on the streets, but stirring music and animated flags waving in the background and the war hawks started being deployed at opportune moments. Awe-inspiring.
