So Shoot Me

So I was thinking of becoming a citizen (mainly so the Bush Gang would find it more difficult to have me shot) but one sticking point is this damn Pledge of Allegiance thingy. It has this whole God thing in it. I read, though, that this “concerned parent” is suing to have the late UNDER GOD amendment to the basic pledge repealed. It was pasted in at the height of Cold War paranoia. Long overdue, I’d say.
