Conspicuous Consumption

Holy Shit! Down on Valencia/19th there’s a swank furniture shop called “Den” with a chair — admittedly a nice chair but still and all a chair — in the window with a $19,500 price tag! That is what I call conspicuous consumption. No recession going on in that shop it seems.
