All Bets Are Off

Sometimes things turn out least the way you expect. No doubt Sharon, the Israeli Prime Minister, thought the WTC attack was heaven-sent. But now that the Bush administration seems to reckon on a Palestinian/Israeli permanent settlement as part of their “solution”, all bets are off.

Of course, they could just be telling the Arabs what they want to hear…
