Cowbells

So everyone’s saying how “beautiful” Windows XP is. I just loaded it and first thing that comes up is some ugly cowfield, garish 1950s-era cloudy sky scene, and some ersatz dock thing that I guess is the new Start Menu. There’s so much clashing colour going on it’s like a return to Windows 3.0. God I hope I can find a restrained, muted skin for this thing as soon as possible…
