The new Google Usenet Archive continues to surprise. Here is an article about the US Taliban fighter, John Walker, describing his posting history. It’s interesting and kind of sad to see how a “normal” 14-year-old with admittedly mysoginistic tendencies became so profoundly authoritarian and blinkered within such a short span of time.
