Questionable POW Status

Bush has finally listened to Colin Powell and his military advisors and granted the Taliban PoW status.

Ah no, it’s more mealy-mouthed than that. The Taliban will get Geneva status, meaning they now get protection from the torture and truth drugs that were being used in X-Ray, but they are now POWs so they don’t have to be repatriated. The Al-Q guys can still get leaned on.
