So While King Bush the Second maintains there is no such thing as global warming, the US Navy is busy doing its job and thinking about how to deal with a world where the Arctic ice cap disappears completely during summer. In that scenario, all the Arctic countries (Russia, Canada, the US (Alaska), the Nordics, Iceland) are suddenly within easy sailing distance of each other. Apparently, this causes all kinds of problems with piracy and sovereignty, with the Canadians finally making a successful bid for the North-West Passage after nearly 500 years of failure and death.
