Relief!
I have been studying like the clappers for weeks for the GRE and finally got it done today – not as good as the practice tests though, 690/690. I was thinking, if I could have gone back nearly 20 years to my Leaving Cert end-of-high-school exam and told that callow youth he would still be doing exams in the 21 century, would he have decided to have become a plumber instead?
Just checked salary for plumbers in SF. Found plumbing jobs making $93k.
Apparently in Britain Biochemists are retraining as plumbers and electricians because they make more money with less hours. So it goes…
